Chef - Production & Events

Kismet / The Pantry - Jersey

We are looking for a skilled, organised chef to join our small, passionate team working across both kitchen production and live events. This role is a mix of hands-on prep and exciting event work, from producing food for retail and private clients to cooking live at weddings, festivals, beach events and pop-ups.

The role includes:

  • Production cooking for The Pantry and Kismet, following set recipes and specs
  • Prep for events, weddings and large-scale catering
  • Cooking live at events including BBQs, paella, street food and sharing feasts
  • Maintaining high food safety, cleanliness and organisation standards
  • Supporting menu development and seasonal dishes where appropriate

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has solid kitchen experience (chef de partie or similar level)
  • Is confident with large-batch cooking and prep
  • Enjoys working at events and cooking for people, not just tickets
  • Is reliable, organised and works well in a small team
  • Can adapt to varied workdays (production days, event days, weekends)

  • Flexible Opportunities: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Weekend-Only roles available year-round.

  • Age Requirements: Must be over 16 (preferably over 18).
